Mobile Crane Operator Unit Standard 3795

Trainees will be able to apply theory and skills in lifting and placing regular loads with a mobile crane and analyse and evaluate processes, through practical experience.

This course is based on coaching and assessment only and is designed for trainees with experience in mobile crane operation.

People credited with this unit standard are able to:

  • Configure and position a mobile crane

  • Use of ropes, reeving, hook block, hook and rigging equipment for lifting regular loads

  • Lift and place regular loads

  • Prepare mobile crane for road travel mode

  • Understand and complete documentation for crane travel

Pre-Requisites

Evidence of 6 months  experience in an environment where cranes are operating.

Unit Standard 3789 Sling regular loads and communicate during crane operations 
Unit Standard 3788 - Demonstrate knowledge of crane types, and safe practices required in the crane industry

If trainees do not hold 3789 and 3788,  do not panic we can deliver these units for you also over separate days
